It  Runs !!

This week, we brought Rita home, and she loaded on and off the trailer under her own power!  And yes, for those wondering, it was GREAT to drive her again.  The engine needed extensive work (thanks, Auto Tech and Flagstaff Engine), but, luckily, the transmission and rear differential were in good shape. The Rambler has a rumble now as I opted to upgrade the old single pipe exhaust system to a dual pipe set up with a Flow Master muffler,(thanks, Muffler Magic), that really lets the engine breathe - the old system I felt always restricted it. There are a lot of new, rebuilt and refurbished suspension parts too - these photos show them. Ignore the strap - she was still on the trailer when these were taken.

Next up - paint and upholstery !

This is how I felt when I started the Rambler up.
