AMCRC National Convention
The 2012 National was held in Reno, NV., which was close enough for us to drive to. We did it in two days, spending a day in between in Bishop, with my family. We drove the Rambler and the Wagoneer over Westgard Pass, which always offers a fun drive with wonderful views.
A large group of other people driving to the show from Southern California and Las Vegas joined us on Wed. night, and we had an AMC BBQ. The next morning, saw eleven AMCs on the road towards Reno. About half way there, the Rambler's Alternator gave out, but, luckily, one of our traveling companions had a spare that would work. A video of the convoy passing through Lee Vining can be found here.

The show was GREAT. Good people and fabulous cars. The Rambler recieved the first place award in the station wagon class, and the Wagoneer, a second place in the Jeep class. Pictures of the show can be found here.

After the show, we drove back to Bishop, and then on to Flagstaff, taking some pictures along the way. It was a great week, but it was wonderful to be back home again, after another Rambler adventure.
